Weapons
There are many, many different weapons in existence. To make searching easier, this page is dedicated to clarifying the criteria we used to sort different weapons into groups.
Before we move into any of these pages, however, allow me to clarify the perhaps unorthodox collection of information that you will find compiled in the pages containing real world weapons.
As I am only a Jedi Padawan at the time of creating this page, I am coming to understand the demanding life of a Jedi more and more as I do my best to live it. We strive to better ourselves every day in all aspects. This includes the mental, the spiritual, and, sometimes regrettably, keeping ourselves sharp on the physical;one of the most important demands a Jedi must be able to meet is to be able to defend themselves and those around them. Hence, I am doing something here that not most weapons knowledge pages would do.
I will be listing not only small amounts of historical information on how each weapon came about and what purpose it serves, but I will also be listing graded stats so that you might get an idea of how a weapon might be handled, whether it be by or against you.
The stats are such, and will be displayed as a five star system:
OFFENSE:
Based on the likelihood of the average adult to take fatal damage after being hit by one strike from the weapon, without trying to factor in skill or practice from the user. The more stars, the more a tactical retreat really should be heavily considered.
DEFENSE:
Based on the usefulness of the weapon when attempting to block or counter an opponent's strike. More stars on this stat means that this weapon is probably built to keep the user alive, and you should definitely plan accordingly.
(NOTE: Some weapons will be effective against some, but not great against others. Make sure to read the full article if you want specifics.)
TECHNIQUE:
Based on how difficult the weapon would be to effectively wield without practice. A higher star count means one could easily pick it up for the advantage.
There will also be average weights and lengths, but those will be presented in numbers.
Take note, reader, that I do not write this information lightly. My wish is not for you to go out and pick fights after attaining this knowledge. I compile and present these findings while sending pulses into the Force so that it, and you, may know that I hope with the deepest pieces of my being that you never need any of it. That it remains only as something trivial that you have access to. No matter how informative or detailed my findings are, something can always go wrong in a real conflict.

Star Wars Fiction
Real World weapons is practical knowledge, but this wouldn't be much of a Jedi Archive without a section where the Lightsaber entry goes, would it? This section contains information about an array of weapons from Star Wars lore.
